VH Frater BT's
In addition to a wide variety of guests, there are several recurring segments in the introductions of each Episode. These segments include: Tech Support, The REAL Rosenkreuz Orden, Corrections Department, TRANSFORMATIONS and Footnotes, BT's Blog, אבּבגדה, and From Station To Station.
In the Tech Support segment, BT recites key words used within the Church of Scientology and its offspring, as well as all of the definitions of said terms given by Hubbard himself. BT claims that these terms can be useful, but he recommends avoiding any affiliation with the Church of Scientology on account of its many well-known human rights abuses. In The REAL Rosenkreuz Orden segment, BT sometimes recites portions of the Fama Fraternitatis over Frater I.T.'s recital of the Fama in the original German. Other times, BT recites his old Corpus Christi papers, or the rituals sacred to the Rosea Rubea et Aurea Crucis, or he pokes fun at the sort of cartoon-bad-guy Ebenezer Scrooge authoritarian hierarchical and money-grubbing copyright-waving sue-happy manifestation of FALSE Rosicrucians known as AMORC. In the Corrections Department segment, BT endeavors to correct or clarify the truth or reality of things he had previous spoken falsehoods about due to ignorance, misinformation, or simply accidental misspeaking.
In the TRANSFORMATIONS and Footnotes segment, BT reads the words of his father John Dan Reib as recorded in his 1976 work TRANSFORMATIONS, and then analyzes them in the "Footnotes". If you'd like to follow along at home with the TRANSFORMATIONS and Footnotes segment, Click Here
In the BT's Blog segment, BT reads old entries from his Blog that he thinks you might enjoy, or which contain information that needs to be brought to light (again). If you'd like to follow along at home with the BT's Blog segment, Click Here
In the אבּבגדה segment, BT recites the meditations on the Hebrew Letters as recorded by Paul Foster Case in The Book of Tokens. If you'd like to follow along at home with the אבּבגדה segment, Click Here
In the From Station To Station segment, BT leads the listener through the establishing of the Temples in the Sephirot and Pathworking of the Tarot Keys. If you'd like to follow along at home with the From Station To Station segment, Click Here
In The Secret of the Golden Flower segment, BT reads from the book of the same name, which Kess Frey recommended in Episode 57. It is attributed to Lü Dongbin of the late Tang dynasty, but is now known to have originated hundreds of years later in the early Qing dynasty. There are also segments which have only occurred once: In Your Head, Theoricus Poker, Rainbow Banana-Band Sphere, Traditional Golden Dawn Temples I Didn't Know About Before, This Is The Dawning of the Age Of Aquarius.
In the In Your Head segment in Episode 54, BT played Ella Jensen's recital of Lon Milo Duquette's poem the morning after he composed it. The name of the segment is a reference to one of Lon's famous quotes. Lon also appeared as a guest in Episode 38. Though it is not mentioned in the descriptions, you can find his music at the end of Episodes 20, 21, 38, and 60.
Theoricus Poker was another segment which was later given its own episode, 41.
The Rainbow Banana-Band Sphere was explained in a beginning segment in Episode 3. Perhaps it's time to bring that one back around. It's a way of simultaneously grokking astrology and learning Golden Dawn correspondences.
The Traditional Golden Dawn Temples I Didn't Know About Before segment is pretty self-explanatory. It was the Colorado Temple, and we interviewed them in episode 36.
Finally, the This Is The Dawning of the Age Of Aquarius segment in which BT recites the description of The Star Card from the Philosophus initiation, which he may have to replay later on for Station To Station.
So if you haven't yet, today might be the day to start binge-listening to...
